FONKIN AA80 is used as a one-way freewheel clutch for overrunning and backstopping duties. It is important to confirm which direction must lock and which direction must overrun before an order is placed. A correct part number is only the starting point; the shaft, housing, torque and operating cycle should also be checked.

Locking direction: state the required direction when viewed from the shaft end, and provide a drawing or photo where possible.
Machine function: confirm whether the unit is used for backstopping, overrunning or indexing.
Mounting details: check shaft and housing dimensions, keyway or coupling details, and available axial space.
Operating conditions: include torque, speed, starting frequency, shock load, temperature and lubrication method.
Protection: advise whether dust, moisture or process contamination can reach the clutch position.
A one-way clutch can look mechanically straightforward, but a wrong locking direction or unsuitable mounting arrangement can stop production or damage connected drive components. The safest route is to send the old marking, a photo of the installation and a short description of what the machine must do when drive power changes.

Keep the clutch clean and protected before fitting. Inspect the shaft and housing for burrs, damage and alignment issues. Follow the equipment maker’s fitting method and do not strike the clutch during installation. Before commissioning, test the locking and overrunning action by hand where safe, then monitor temperature and abnormal noise during the first operating period.
Please send AA80 marking, quantity, locking direction, application, photos, required delivery date and destination country. FONKIN can review the available information before recommending a supply option.

Provide a photo or sketch showing the viewing direction and required rotation. This avoids a costly reversal error.
Send installation photos, dimensions and the machine function to fonkin-industries@188.com for review.
