The BS2-2220-2RS5/VT143 SKF is a professional sealed spherical roller bearing specially optimized for high-temperature and harsh working conditions. Featured with double-sided 2RS5 heavy-duty contact seals and exclusive VT143 high-temperature stable formula grease, this SKF bearing owns excellent self-aligning capability, heavy load capacity and high temperature resistance, becoming an ideal core component for continuous operation in high-heat, dusty and heavily loaded working environments.
In accordance with ISO 15312 industrial bearing standards, accurate dimensional parameters are confirmed: bore diameter 100 mm, outer diameter 180 mm, total width 46 mm, standard chamfer 2.0×45°, precision tolerance grade P0, standard radial clearance. The fully sealed structure effectively blocks dust, moisture and impurities, realizing stable long-term operation.
All inner and outer rings are made of high-purity vacuum refined 100Cr6 bearing steel, with overall quenched hardness ranging from HRC 61 to HRC 63, possessing superior wear resistance, fatigue resistance and thermal stability. Spherical rollers adopt ultra-precision finishing steel material; the high-strength pressed steel cage maintains stable rolling element guidance under high temperature and heavy load without deformation.
The whole manufacturing flow covers precise die forging, high-precision CNC turning, isothermal quenching and tempering, raceway precision grinding and raceway superfinishing. Optimized heat treatment removes internal stress uniformly, while superfinishing reduces surface friction loss and greatly improves thermal stability and running smoothness.
Based on ISO 281 life calculation standard, its standard L10 rated service life reaches 70,000 hours under rated load, stable speed and normal high-temperature working environment. Actual service life is mainly affected by operating temperature, bearing load, installation alignment, sealing status and grease performance.
This BS2-2220-2RS5/VT143 SKF bearing is widely applied in metallurgical equipment, kiln roller supports, drying machinery, heavy-duty conveyor systems, thermal processing equipment and industrial high-temperature fans. Its strong self-aligning performance compensates shaft deflection, and matched VT143 special grease adapts long-term high-temperature operation perfectly.
For daily maintenance, regular inspection is required every 380 working hours. Do not replace matched VT143 grease randomly; keep sealing integrity to avoid grease deterioration. Regularly check operating temperature, running noise and surface abrasion, and replace seals timely once aging occurs.During installation, clean matching shafts and housings completely, adopt symmetrical press-fitting assembly and strictly forbid hammer striking.
Control installation coaxiality error within standard range and follow specified tightening torque. Conduct no-load trial operation after installation to ensure flexible rotation and no abnormal vibration, so as to exert the maximum high-temperature resistant performance of the bearing.
